BOTO Design was hired to revamp this large, long-neglected single-story warehouse structure into a creative office. Formerly part-window glass warehouse/fabrication facility and part-wholesale paper company warehouse, the space was reimagined as an open office space for a globally-branded automotive design studio. New communal kitchen & break area, bathrooms, offices, and conference rooms were added. Mechanical and electrical systems were fully upgraded to support the new use. Windows & storefront doors were replaced to unify the exterior, and large skylights were added to bring light into the dark interior. Large colored stained glass and metal elements mark the entries to give the building a new identity along its highly visible street facade.
